B & D Cordless Shrubber Nov 23, 2009 This tool is excellent for trimming small quantities of shrubs. It is light weight and compact. I would not recommend this tool for trimming more than ten feet of low lying hedges though.

No Power Oct 18, 2009 This is close to being a piece of junk. It discharges very quickly, has no power, barely cuts anything bigger than 1/16th of an inch.
Just what I was looking for Sep 30, 2009 This is the perfect tool for me. I have a large yard and a gardener, however, I prefer to do a lot of the trimming myself. I have both a chain saw and a large hedge trimmer, but they're overkill and/or personally dangerous for most of my needs. This shrubber is just the right size and weight to do most of what I have to do. Because it's so light and easy to use, I find that I use it frequently, and my yard is looking much better because I'm not putting off doing work with a tool which is unpleasant to operate.

Adequate to the task Sep 17, 2009 I liked this product, as I do most Black and Decker products. It's very small, but extremely sturdy. It isn't meant for everything. If you have a small yard and not a lot of bushes, it's for you. You can't beat the value.
Black and Decker can improve this product by including a short booklet on how to cut different kinds of shrubs, or having a link to a website that does that. There are some types of shrubs and bushes this doesn't work with.

too short for general use Sep 17, 2009 not good for general use, if you already have a long one, and really have tiny bushes to trim, you can buy one as a plus.
